About Sitka Springs Farm:

Picture
Sitka Springs Farm is located just inland from Newport, Oregon on a diverse land of forest, riparian wetland, and pasture.  We are committed to the health of the environment, so that we may enjoy the beauty of the land for many years to come.

Starting in 2011, we enlisted the help of Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District to help plant native trees and shrubs, improve our creek water quality, and improve the habitat for the native flora and fauna in our watershed.

We are growing foods that thrive in our climate, such as potatoes, greens, salad mix, culinary herbs, green onions, leeks, peas, cabbages, artichokes, broccoli, and root crops such as beets, turnips, radishes, and carrots, in addition to some of your warm weather favorites like tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, and basil.  We will continue to expand our selection, and improve upon our offerings for many seasons to come!

We will also offer wild harvested mushrooms in the late summer and fall, as well as native herbs and berries, as available throughout the season.

In 2012 we started our CSA program.  Our 2018 CSA registration is now OPEN!. Check out our FAQ page if you are interested in a share for 2018!

We raise our vegetables and flowers naturally, without synthetic chemicals and fertilizers, and strive to be a sustainable farm business.   We believe working with the processes of nature is the responsible way to farm, not only to produce healthy fruits and veggies, but also to preserve the land for future generations.  Our farm does not support in any way GMO's or companies who have a stake in genetic engineering ideologies.
